About

Brian's practice is focused on emerging technology companies and encompasses company formation, corporate governance, raising capital, contract and joint venture negotiation, equity compensation, and mergers & acquisitions. His work includes representation of numerous businesses ranging from software providers to professional services, as well as venture capital and private equity funds and angel investors.

Experience

Brian has an undergraduate degree in finance and earned his MBA while obtaining more than seven years of practical financial services experience. He graduated magna cum laude from Indiana University’s Robert H. McKinney School of Law where he was the Executive Notes Editor for the Indiana Law Review, completed an externship with Justice Steven H. David of the Indiana Supreme Court, was a member of the Dean’s Tutorial Society, and received the Neil E. Shook scholarship and the Norman Lefstein Award of Excellence.

Community

Outside of work, Brian serves as an X-District Board Member (Lafayette Entrepreneur and Enterprise District) and a Board Member of the Open Information Security Foundation.

Brian lives in Lafayette, Indiana with his wife and twin boys, and in his limited free time he enjoys playing golf. He is the former owner of a coffee shop and still drinks too much espresso.
